Jun 03, 2011

An industry consulting firm reports that U.S. auto sales are likely to recover to pre-recession levels by 2013, bolstered by pent-up demand from consumers ready to replace their existing cars and trucks, which have an average age of 10.4 years. According to A.T. Kearney, sales will rise this year to 13.2 million cars and light trucks from 11.6 million last year and will likely approach 16million vehicles by 2013.
