Average MPG Of New Vehicles Holds At 25.2 In February

The average fuel economy of new light vehicles sold in the U.S. in February remained at 25.2 mpg, according to a report from the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute.

This is the same average as January, and marks the 24th month out of the last 25 that the average mpg has been at or above 25. In December, it was just shy of 25 at 24.9 mpg.
