Dealerships Already Supporting MADD NJ Campaign

Aug 31, 2005

More than a dozen dealerships have already committed to participate in the NJ CAR organized Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) NJ 2005 “Tie One On For Safety” Campaign. That’s a great start, but there is opportunity for many more dealers to get involved in this worthwhile cause. This campaign provides an excellent opportunity for dealerships to show their community support in a very visible way, while also raising funds for MADD NJ and public awareness about the issues of drunk driving and seatbelt use.NJ CAR’s commitment is to raise $50,000 for MADD NJ. Once the campaign officially kicks off with a State House press conference in September, NJ CAR and MADD will begin posting a list of participating dealerships on their respective websites.Dealerships that choose to support MADD NJ and participate in this exciting program will have many opportunities to actively promote their involvement in this worthwhile cause, including the use of the recognizable MADD logo in their advertising for the duration of the campaign. In addition to committing to a small donation for every new and used car sold between October 1 and December 31, 2005 and the purchase of ribbons to distribute, dealers will also have the opportunity to purchase other materials through MADD that help promote your dealership’s involvement, and further benefiting MADD NJ’s fundraising efforts. Thank you to the early participants, and we look forward to many more dealerships joining this worthy cause. If you are interested in participating, please contact Brian Hughes at 609.883.5056, ext. 315 for a participation/ order form so your dealership can sign up to participate in the “Tie One On For Safety” Campaign.
