It is with deep sadness and a sense of loss that we report the passing of Thomas J. Hahn, a NJ CAR Chairman in 1976. Thomas, 85, was born in Cleveland Ohio and was a Korean War Army veteran who worked on the development of the hydrogen bomb. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Thomas owned Clairmont Auto Group in West Caldwell until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons Michael and Timothy; daughters Carolyn and Christine; and nine grandchildren.NJ CAR’s condolences go out to the family and friends of Thomas J. Hahn.
