This campaign provides an excellent opportunity for dealerships to show their community support in a very visible way, while also raising funds for MADD NJ and public awareness about the issues of drunk driving and seatbelt use.NJ CAR’s goal is to raise $50,000 for MADD NJ. MADD NJ will be promoting this program and participating dealerships as the sole public distributors of the free “Tie One on for Safety” ribbons, which signifies an individual’s commitment to drive sober and always wear a seatbelt. Keep an eye out for next week’s mailing.Dealerships that choose to support MADD NJ and participate in this exciting program will have many opportunities to actively promote their involvement in this worthwhile cause, including the use of the recognizable MADD logo in their advertising for the duration of the “Tie One On For Safety” campaign. In addition to committing to a small donation for every new and used car sold between October 1 and December 31, 2005, and the purchase of ribbons to distribute, dealers will also have the opportunity to purchase other materials through MADD that help promote the dealership’s involvement, in addition to further benefiting MADD NJ’s fundraising efforts. MADD NJ will help participating dealerships get as much exposure as possible.NJ CAR encourages all members to review the information and strongly consider participating in this worthwhile campaign.
