The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) recently conducted a Women In Automotive video competition, asking women from across the country and in all dealership departments, to post a short video about their career in automotive retailing to Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram.
The goal of the competition was to shine a light on the many opportunities that exist for women in the automotive retailing industry. There were many submissions from across the country, including several from New Jersey and Leona Bobowicz, Controller at Manahawkin Kia, was chosen as one of the competition’s ten winners. Lee, who began her career at a Studebaker dealership, has been committed to the automotive retailing industry for decades and encourages other women to consider careers in the industry.
