$2 Trillon Coronavirus Stimulus Still Being Debated

As of this writing, the Senate is debating a historic, $2 trillion stimulus package to address the havoc the COVID-19 pandemic is having on millions of individuals, businesses and the overall U.S. economy. Details of what will be included in the final bill are still uncertain. NJ CAR will follow-up with an analysis of the bill, once it passes, and highlight the items that are of particular interest to New Jersey’s 500+ neighborhood new car and truck dealerships.

U.S. Department of Labor Publishes Guidance On Paid Sick Leave & Expanded Family and Medical Leave

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) recently released its first round of published guidance to provide information to employees AND employers about how each will be able to take advantage of the protections and relief offered by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) when it takes effect on April 1, 2020.
