NJ CAR’s 98th Annual Meeting was held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, New Jersey. Brigid Callahan-Harrison, Ph.D., a Professor of Political Science and Law at Montclair State University, provided attendees with some big picture analysis of the presidential race, including a detailed look at red state-blue state electoral college predictions. She also provided her insight on the 2017 gubernatorial and legislative races in New Jersey.
NJ CAR’s Outgoing Chairman Larry Kull, Incoming Chairman Rick DeSilva, Jr. and President Jim Appleton also spoke to members about issues the industry and NJ CAR have faced over the past year and commented on anticipated issues the industry will face in the coming year. Attendees also recognized W. Rodman Ryan, NJ CAR’s 2017 TIME Dealer of the Year Award winner who was introduced by New Jersey’s NADA Director, Marcy Maguire.
