Health benefits are among the biggest expenses for new car dealers. NJ CAR has worked with its partners (Corporate Synergies Group, HUB International, and WithumSmith+Brown) to conduct an annual health benefits survey to provide dealers with useful data to gauge how their benefits measure up against the rest of the New Jersey market and assist them in making informed health insurance decisions.
on February 4, 2022, NJ CAR hosted a webinar that discussed health benefits. Lou Young, from Withum, briefly reviewed the results of the latest survey, but the majority of webinar, led by Bruce Mazzarelli (HUB International) and Ward Bauman (Corporate Synergies), focused on a discussion of topics respondents said were most important to them, including:
- The role of technology to improve benefits administration
- Tools to enhance the employee experience, including advocacy
- Understanding the cost drivers of employee benefits, including pharmacy
