NJ CAR Members Participating In The NJ CAR Workers’ Comp Program Have Saved Over $1 Million

Oct 24, 2017

Participating dealerships in the NJ CAR Workers’ Comp Program have experienced a savings of over $1.2 million. Close to 70% of participating dealerships have recently received dividend checks. The dividend is in the form of a check not a credit against the renewal policy.

NJ CAR’s Program is very competitive in comparison to programs offered by other carriers. There are other financial benefits NJ CAR’s Program has as well, including:

•Scheduled credits of up to 25% based on your dealership’s individual loss experience. Credits are applied up front.

•Proprietary employee classifications based on certain job responsibilities/descriptions that can save you an additional 15-20%.

In addition, NJ CAR’s Zero Injury Protection Program (ZIP) is provided “free” to all participating dealerships in NJ CAR’s Workers’ Comp Program. Charles Russo is NJ CAR’s on-staff Loss Control professional who will work one on-one with dealerships to help them to reduce their loss experience. This is not anannual ‘walk through’ with a check list. Charles works with participating dealerships on an ongoing basis throughout the year. As a result of Charles’ efforts, many participating dealerships in the Program have reduced their loss experience resulting in a lower Experience Modification factor, in turn lowering their premium. The Zero Injury Program (ZIP) DOES work and Charles can demonstrate to you how successful it is, based upon the actual results of other NJ CAR members.

And in addition to all of this, dealers are eligible for a dividend based on the individual loss experience of your dealership. All dealerships that have participated in the ZIP Program have received a dividend.

Many dealers’ Workers’ Comp policies renew in the next few months. Why not obtain an apples-to-apples comparison for your dealership? If you are currently working with a Broker, our Program is ‘Broker friendly’ and welcomes other Brokers to participate. The Coalition’s Program won’t disrupt any existing relationship you have with your Broker.
