Byron T. Brisby, President of Flemington Car & Truck Country in Flemington, New Jersey who one of seven individuals from across the United States, Germany and the Netherlands honored at Northwood University’s annual Dealer Education Awards. The dealers chosen are recognized for their individual contributions and efforts to improve education at all levels. Northwood has been honoring dealers for 40 years. This year’s ceremony was held in conjunction with the NADA Convention in Las Vegas. For more than 20 years, Byron has helped forge a balance between the needs of his customers and his employees. He was one of the first in the industry to provide a combined satellite and Internet training center for all technicians to address the efficiencies of travel and time. He also established the Family Educational Scholarship Program in 2004. To date, more than 150 scholarships have been awarded through this Program.
