Aug 09, 2011

For the past five years, six Cumberland County auto dealers put aside $2 from every car they sold for a county college scholarship fund. Just this past Monday, representatives from Rossi Honda, Lilliston Auto Group, Team Nissan, Bob Novick Auto Mall, Vann Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Quality Lincoln Mercury Hyundai presented a check for $206,160 to Cumberland County College President, Thomas Isekenegbe, for the School Counts Program. High school graduates must maintain a C average over four years, take more than the minimum courses required to graduate and have a 95 percent average attendance rate each year in order to qualify for the School Counts Program. Students who meet the academic and attendance requirements of the School Counts Program can get preference in job interviews or college scholarships. Please join NJCAR in congratulating Rossi Honda, Lilliston Auto Group, Team Nissan, Bob Novick Auto Mall, Vann Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Quality Lincoln Mercury Hyundai for contributing to this worthwhile, local, educational program.
