Two students from the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, Stephen Moklak and RyanWenzel, were recently sponsored by NJCAR in the National Automotive Technology Competition at New York City’s Jacob Javitz Center on April 2-3, 2013.Designated “Team Subaru” and working on a Subaru Outback, the competitors measured, scoped and diagnosed their way through the two-day event. The Coalition also wishes to thank Charles Kerbeck, Service Director Rich Hagmeyer and Service Manager Gene Hedgepeth of Kerbeck Subaru, for making a vehicle available to the school for the students to hone their diagnostic skills prior to the event.NJ CAR hopes all dealers will continue to support automotive technical education and help prepare the next generation of technicians.
