Apr 26, 2006

Hunterdon County Poly-Technical High School Seniors Richard Dean and Jack Endress recently competed in the National Automotive Technical Competition at the New York International Auto Show. Going up against 34 other teams of high school seniors, sponsored by Automotive Trade Associations from all over the U.S., Richard and Jack finished a very respectable fourth in this difficult competition. Competing as “Team Buick,” Richard and Jack, along with their Instructor Dennis Sienicki, spent two days competing in Manhattan as NJCAR’s guests during this prestigious event conducted by theGreater New York Auto Dealers Association (GNYADA).

The team, which was selected at a State-wide competition at Lincoln Technical School in February, received help preparing for their competition from the service staff at Flemington Buick Chevrolet Pontiac GMC under the lead of Service Manager John Villamil. The Fourth Place finish is the highest yet in the 10years NJCAR has been sponsoring a team at the National Competition.

Congratulations to Richard, Jack, Hunterdon County-Polytech, and thanks to everyone who made this year’s success possible.
