Nov 22, 2016

At the recent meeting of the NJ CAR Board of Trustees, three long-term NJ CAR employees were recognized for reaching 20- and 25-year employment milestones with the Coalition.

Dave Comly began his career with NJ CAR on January 14, 1991 as a Junior Programmer working on the IBM mainframe. When the Coalition decided to migrate to a PC-based platform in 1997, Dave’s role and responsibilities steadily increased. Eventually in 2002, Dave assumed the position of Director of the IT Department. Dave’s talent and commitment to NJ CAR make him a truly valued member of the Coalition’s management team.

Tammy Garrett-Williams started working for NJ CAR on April 11, 1995 as a typist at the Coalition’s Motor Vehicle Agency. In December 2000, Tammy briefly left NJ CAR to pursue another career, but returned to the Coalition’s employment in August 2001, with less than a year break in service. Her positive attitude and tremendous work ethic make her a highly valued member of the NJ CAR Motor Vehicle Services Operation.

Christine Phillips started her career with the Coalition on July 1, 1996 as an Administrative Assistant. In July 2008, she was promoted to her current position as the Executive Assistant to Jim Appleton. Christine accepted this challenging position with a great work ethic and confident attitude, making her a tremendously valued member of the NJ CAR administrative team.

NJ CAR extends its congratulations to Dave, Tammy and Christine on their achievements.
