NJ CAR is happy to introduce the Coalition’s newest hire, Craig Henry, who will be serving as NJ CAR’s Dealer Member Liaison. Craig will be visiting dealers to make them aware of pertinent legal, regulatory, and industry affairs issues that impact their business operations. He will also make sure all members are aware of NJ CAR’s many products, services, and training opportunities.
Craig grew up in Willingboro, New Jersey, attended San Francisco State University and has more than 25 years of experience in the auto retailing industry. He started his automotive career at Prestige Pontiac and Volkswagen in the 1990’s before moving to Sloane Auto Group in Pennsylvania. After attending various management training courses at Toyota’s former North American headquarters in California, he was recruited as a General Sales Manager at a Toyota dealership in the San Francisco area. He has also previously worked as a Director of Direct Sales at another San Francisco-area Toyota dealership.
Craig has spent the last several years working on the media side of things, including a stint at the San Francisco Chronicle, where he sold digital advertising to auto dealers before finding his way back to New Jersey and joining NJ CAR. He currently lives in Marlton, New Jersey and has three adult children.
