Robert DeFelice, owner of Circle Chevrolet/Hyundai of Shrewsbury and NJ CAR Secretary, is calling on all dealers in Monmouth and Ocean Counties to join with the Boy Scouts of America to support the organization’s “Scouting for Food” food drive this fall.This worthy event provides a tremendous amount of assistance to needy families. Dealerships can participate in any number of ways.They can allow the Boy Scouts to place a box at their dealership for food collection, or they can provide a dealership van to transport food to the various food pantries around Monmouth and Ocean Counties. In addition to performing a much-needed community service, participating dealers will be invited to attend the media kick-off event being held on September 24 at Brookdale Community College.Participating dealerships will also be permitted to use the “Scouting for Food” logo in their advertising during the month of November.
